The
Prophet's Conference / The Tipping Point
Vancouver, B.C. July 23-25 / 26-27, 2010.
The purpose of the 2012 Tipping Point Prophets conference in
Vancouver is to explore a radically different, more optimistic interpretation
of the Mayan prophecy – as referring to the end of the world as we have
known it. Instead of predicting a physical destruction of the material world,
the Mayan prophecy might refer to death and rebirth and a mass inner transformation
of humanity.

Seminar
on Maya shamanism and healing plants
In late July / early August, I will be attending a Wasiwaska
retreat in Florianopolis, Brazil, giving three unique presentations on Maya
shamanism and cosmology, universal sacred science principles, and sacred lore
preserved in ancient oral traditions such as the Finnish Kalevala. Wasiwaska
is a research center for the study of psychointegrator plants, visionary art
and consciousness. Hosted by Dr. Luis Eduardo Luna.
Maya Tour 2010
Author John
Major Jenkins will accompany the Maya Spiritual Guides and participants in a
ceremonial tour of Maya sites in Guatemala and Mexico, including Tak'alik Ab'aj
and Izapa. June 19-26. This historic occassion will be highlighted by the Maya
guides visiting Izapa, presentations by myself and pioneer Izapa archaeologist
V. Garth Norman, and breaking ground on the Maya cosmology museum and educational
center near Izapa, sponsored by a collaboration between the Izapa Cosmos
civil association (in Mexico) and The
Maya Conservancy (a U.S.-based non-profit).
